Hello, I guess. First of all, my name isn't really Phoenix at all, it's Whitney, but you'll have to take that up with my mother. Phoenix is the name they gave when I started singing. Oh yes, I'm a singer by the way. I just signed a recording contract with MAKO Records. I've been writing music for years and it seems strange that others are willing to pay me for it--but who am I to complain. It pays the bills, and it keeps me off the streets. And that's a lot in my books.

I was born in Finland, and just recently arrived here in London. (Just don't ask me how I got here.) My father walked out on us when I was just a baby, so who knows where he is, but my mom is still in Finland. Somehow I'm gonna find a way to get her set up over here... I had a little brother, but...well, Jamie had a bad time of it too.

Z--my new friend, Zackary Kohl--says that there's a little death in everyone's life, most just haven't felt it yet. He's a little depressing, especially when he talks like he knows things. Stefan, who's being kind enough to put me up, and also happens to be my boss, assures me that Zack is an idiot. I think they're both insane.
